Vietnam era men's Altus, Swiss 17 jewel, all stainless steel, manual wind military wristwatch, excellent condition

Manufactured in Switzerland by the Altus Watch Company in the 1960's, this is a rare, collectible vintage, Vietnam ear men's military wristwatch in excellent condition!

It features a brightly polished stainless steel case that measures 1 1/8" in diameter excluding cushion crown and lugs, (officially a man's watch in the 1970's but with today's fashion, could certainly be a popular vintage watch for both men and women). It surrounds a parchment dial that contrasts beautifully against silver hour and minute hands, red sweep second hand, and raised numbers, and black outer chapter.

The dial is in very nice condition, the domed crystal is clear and bright, and the Swiss 17 jewel, incabloc, manual wind movement, serial # 132242 and signed Altus Watch Company, is running well and keeping very good time.

It is shock proof with a stainless steel, screw-down back and has been fitted with a supple new black leather strap with stainless buckle.
