Men's vintage 1940's Lord Nelson Swiss, Art Deco, fixed lugs wristwatch

As most of you know, I go to quite a bit of effort researching vintage watches I offer, but this is one of the rarest I've acquired.

From the 1940's it is a men's Lord Nelson that features a gold plated 37 mm / 1.46" gold plated case, excluding fixed lugs and unusual faceted crown, and surrounds a crisp white dial featuring gold sword hour and minute hands, painted Art Deco numbers and baton markers, black outer chapter, all under a bright, new, domed crystal.

The Swiss movement, marked Chael Z Berger, 0 jewels, manual wind movement sets and winds as it should, is running well, and keeping good time.

It has a snap down back, is antimagnetic, and is matched with a vintage, 1-piece brown woven strap with gold buckle.

Although it shows the usual wear and tear of the past 80 years, it has an interesting appeal and mysterious past!
