Running men's vintage 1940's Gruen Swiss WWII military dial wristwatch

This WWII era Gruen Precision, Veri-Thin military wristwatch is in remarkable condition considering its about 80 years of service.

Manufactured is Switzerland in the 1940's it features a stainless-steel case that measures 31.6 mm / 1.24" in diameter, excluding crown and lugs, and surrounds an evenly-aged soft silver dial complimented by cut-out gold syringe hour and minute hands, red sweep second hand, raised gold numbers and markers, and a well-defined black outer-chapter.

The 17 jewel, Swiss manual wind movement sets and winds as it should, is running well and keeping very good time.
