This is a very rare find indeed!

Manufactured in Switzerland by the Winton Watch Company in the Roaring 20's it features a hinged fancy, engraved 14K white rolled gold plate case, that measures 27 mm X 17 mm, excluding, blue cabochon crown and ring bracelet attachments.

Considering that it dates back to 100+ years, the dial is in very good condition, showing only light aging, the breguet hands are perfect, the black gothic numbers are clear and the windowpane center is simply signed, WINTON.

As is to be expected the crystal has some surface scratches but, in intact, and still shows well.

The watch does not come with a bracelet and although, my choice would be a corded one, I'll leave that decision to its new caretaker.

    ABOUT WINTON WATCH COMPANY:

The original Winton watch brand was trademarked on May 1, 1919. It was initially owned by the "Hipp. Didisheim Company, Inc." in New York, NY. Around 1940, the trademarks were transferred to the "L. Adels Company," also in New York, NY. Louis Adels, the owner of L. Adels Company, marketed watches under several brands, including "Winton". These watches often used movements from Swiss manufacturers within the Èbauches SA Group, such as A. Schild, Aurore, ETA, Felsa, Fontainemelon, and Unitas, though some featured movements like the caliber 523 by the German company Durowe.
