This is a well-preserved 17 jewel HILCO Adonis men's wristwatch from the 1950's that would make a wonderful addition to your watch collection or a great way to start one.
It features a stainless-steel case and back that measures 33 mm / 1/3" in diameter, excluding crown and lugs.
The beige dial is in great condition for a watch that is 70+ years old and is complimented by silver hour, minute, and sweep second hands, raised silver baton markers, silver outer chapter. It is signed HILCO Adonis, 17 jewels, all under a bright, clear new crystal!
The Swiss movement sets and winds as it should, is running well and keeping very good time.
It is shockproof and antimagnetic with a screw-down back and is matched with a supple brown, Italian 2-piece, genuine leather strap.
