If you are a watch collector, may I introduce you to, what may be, your next acquisition!

From the 1940's this is a very rare WWII veteran men's military wristwatch that, considering it is 80+ years old, has been very well preserved.

From an era when men's watches were much smaller than today, the chrome-over-brass case measures 28.1 mm in diameter, excluding cushion crown and lugs.

The dial is an evenly aged parchment color complimented by, once bright and luminous but now dimmed, black outlined hour and minute hands, a red center sweep second hand, black outlined gold Arabic numbers, and black outer chapter.

Although my highly magnified photos show this old soldier has some bumps and bruises on the case, it presents very well to the naked eye and has been polished to a bright luster by a professional watch restorer.

To complete the restoration the 17 jewel, Swiss, manual wind incabloc movement has been cleaned, oiled, and adjusted. It is running very well and keeping excellent time.

It has a screw-down back and has been matched with a new, genuine leather, stitched brown bund strap with stainless buckles which suits it very well.

Please Note: This special timepiece has been serviced and restored by a trusted professional in The Ukraine with whom I have worked for several years. His shop has been shuttered during the conflict there and we hope that peace is restored soon and that we can, once again, offer his products to you.
