Manufactured in the 1940's by Lunesa Watch Company, this is a very rare, men's WWII military wristwatch in very good condition.
As men's watches of this era were smaller than today, it measures 30 mm in diameter, excluding crown and lugs, and surrounds a well preserved parchment dial complimented by once, but no longer, luminous hour and minute hands and a, highly sought after, red center sweep.
The numbers are set against a black background while the outer chapter is black against a parchment background.
The manual wind Swiss 17 jewel, incabloc, movement has been recently professionally oiled, serviced and winds smoothly, is running strong, and keeping good time.
It is matched with a vintage, genuine leather black bund strap with stainless buckle.
