Men's vintage 1940's WWII Winton / Laco Swiss gold military wristwatch, running great!

We are delighted to offer this rare Laco / Winton WWII era military wristwatch in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition!

Manufactured in Germany in the 1940's by the renowned Laco Watch Company the gold plated case measures 29 mm / 1.16", excluding crown and lugs, surrounds a beautiful soft gold dial, complimented by black, once luminous but now dimmed, syringe hour and minute hands, bold Arabic numbers, black outer chapter, and sub-second dial @ 6'oclock, all under a clear crystal.

The 7 jewel Swiss movement sets and winds as it should, is running great, and keeping very good time.

It has a snap-down back and is matched with, a new brown, 16 mm stitched, genuine leather 2 piece strap with gold buckle.

It was a defining moment in Laco's history and cemented its reputation as a producer of reliable and highly precise timepieces.
